While the Philippine consumer was sleeping, Apple launched the latest iPhone, the comeback of a small size iPhone pack with some latest technology and others that are few years old already. The iPhone SE became official and it is apparently the iPhone 6S specs in an iPhone 5 body.

iPhone SE features
Firstly, the iPhone SE comes in two capacity variants — 16G and 64G. The rear camera has 12MP and can take 4K video and it also features live photos. Connectivity-wise, the iPhone SE has 19 LTE bands and is capable of up to 150Mbps mobile Internet speed. You might be disappointed to know that the front camera has only 1.2MP, but don’t worry because it has an opening of F/2.4 and still wide at 31mm. The rear camera has also wide lens having 29mm and an opening of F/2.2, it also features dual-LED (dual tone) flash and employs phase detection autofocus (AF).
The iPhone SE is slightly thinner than the iPhone 4 having only 0.30 inch (the iPhone 4 has .37 inch). It is also lighter with only 113 grams (versus the iPhone 4 with 137 grams).
The small iPhone takes the processor of the iPhone 6S having Apple A9 chipset that runs Dual-core 1.84 GHz Twister and PowerVR GT7600. Just like the other iPhones, there is no card slot for additional storage.
The 4-inch display has 640 x 1136 screen resolution with 326 ppi.
On the connectivity department, the iPhone SE employs WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, and the usual feature WiFi hotspot is still in place. Bluetooth has version 4.2 and it has NFC but utilizes Appley Pay only.
It also equipped with fingerprint sensors.
iPhone SE colors
The iPhone colors which have been the standard in the past releases have been also observed with the iPhone SE. Space Grey, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold are the choices for this year’s iPhone.

What’s in the box
Inside the packaging of the iPhone SE are the following items — the Apple EarPods with remote and mic, lightning to USB cable, 5W USB wall charger and the iPhone SE.
iPhone SE Philippines availability and pricing
We have yet to find out soon as to the local availability of the iPhone SE. Pricing in the US starts at P18.5k. (USD399).
