Firefly Mobile hasn’t teased any upcoming smartphones for now. However, as I went to one of their stores here in Mandaluyong City, there are two smartphones that are said to be released this September 2017.
The first, X626 is the most affordable 4GB RAM smartphone with 10-core chipset. An all-metal build with 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display and unibody design. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6797 Helio X20 chipset, boasts at 2.3Ghz and are paired with 32GB of native storage and 4GB RAM. Unfortunately, there is no microSD card slot.
For the optics department, the X626 uses a nice camera setup here, packing in a 21-megapixel lens with dual-LED flash and an 8-megapixel sensor for the front camera. Software-wise, it is running on Android v6.0 “Marshmallow”. Other features includes, an infrared remote control, and a fingerprint scanner with 99.3% positive recognition rates from its biometric security system. It is located at the back panel.
Going to the audio, the X626 features a Dolby Atmos sound technology for better audio experience. For charging the phone, there’s a USB Type-C connector that supports fast charge on its 3,000 mAh battery capacity. However, based on what I’ve seen in the spec sheet, the phone supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 support, which is weird, though.
On the other, the X622, has the same specs and features with difference in the camera sensors and RAM. The rear camera now packs at a slightly downgraded 16-megapixel sensor while the front camera remains at 8-megapixel. The RAM is at 3GB.

Availability
Both the Firefly Mobile X626 and X622 are now available at all Firefly Mobile retail stores nationwide, with price of P7,999 and P6,999, respectively. There’s a free jelly case in the package.
