The company that did not deviate from the classic film camera technology launches three new X series camera and two new lenses in the Philippines.

In photo: Hiroshi Kawahara, the father of X100 was in Manila to grace the launch of the latest X Series.
X30 replaces X20, the new model has the newly-developed Real Time Viewfinder – which is the largest, fastest and highest resolving viewfinder in its class – a large 2/3-inch X-TransTM CMOS II sensor 12 megapixel with no optical low pass filter), EXR Processor II image processing engine and a new ‘Classic Chrome’ film simulation mode. Further additions include a new control ring along with extra dials and function buttons for more control and a tilting 3.0-inch 920K-dot premium clear LCD monitor. Battery performance has also been improved, with the X30 capable of shooting approximately 470 photos on one charge thanks to a capacity approximately 1.8 times greater than that of previous models and a new, energy- saving design.
We were not provided with the official SRP but we saw CameraHaus Megamall selling this for P31,990 with these items in bundle – SD8GB Memory, Fuji Original Leather Case, Lens Hood & Protector Filter. At this price, a zero interest for six months is also offered using a credit card purchase.
X100T is the third iteration since the original X100 was developed. The new premium compact digital camera X100T is equipped with the
world’s first electronic rangefinder, an APS-C size X-Trans CMOS II sensor, high-speed EXR Processor II image processing engine and a FUJINON 23mm F2 lens, the X100T delivers unsurpassed image quality thanks to advanced color reproduction technology and the new unique Classic Chrome film simulation mode. The X100T still features a 23mm f/2 lens paired to a 16-megapixel APS-C X-Trans II sensor.
Finally, an upgraded version of the XT1, the Graphite Silver Edition now comes with a tilting LCD display. It has the fastest Real Time Viewfinder with a display lag-time of just 0.005 sec, the highest display magnification (0.77x), and a dust and weather-resistant body.
XF50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR
The FUJINON XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR has a focal length equivalent to 76- 213mm, and a constant F2.8 aperture throughout the range. With a lens construction of 23 glass elements in 16 groups, which features five ED lens elements, and one Super ED lens element with low dispersion characteristics comparable to a fluorite lens, chromatic aberrations have been substantially reduced. Furthermore, the use of a new Nano-GI(Gradient Index) coating technology ensures this high-performance optic delivers results befitting its flagship XF telephoto zoom lens status.
The FUJINON XF56mmF1.2 R APD is an autofocus lens for digital cameras with APS-C size sensors and provides a focal length equivalent to 85mm*1. The lens has a maximum aperture of F1.2 making it the world’s brightest autofocus lens for digital cameras with an APS-C sensor. In addition, the new apodizing filter makes it the perfect choice for portraiture, with every strand of hair visible and a unique bokeh effect.
