OPPO Philippines sent us media invitation, noting that the upcoming OPPO F5 will finally reveal on October 26, 2017, highlighting the caption “Capture The Real You”. It indicates the used of an AI Beauty Recognition technology for taking selfies that will recognize the user’s skin tone and also, the company will have a USP on the camera set up.
However, in China, a Weibo user uploaded some of the photos revealing the OPPO F5 in red flavor. It also shows a bezel-less display on the front screen with a dual camera lens.
Aside from that, OPPO F5 is expected to be the first in the company, to feature an FHD+ display with 2160 x 1080 resolution. Rumors also suggested that it’ll come in two storage variants: 64GB with 4GB RAM and 128GB with 6GB RAM. Also, it is tipped to launch with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, clocks at 2.2Ghz and is paired with Adreno 512 GPU. Battery is also anticipated to be a 4,000 mAh capacity, with VOOC flash charge support.
